4 Key Attitudes For Today
Today, I Will Cultivate A Reverent Spirit
I will intentionally have a reverent spirit toward those whom God has place in positions of authority in my life. I will remind myself that God works through my authorities. I will have respect and reverence toward those in authority over me because of the position they hold regardless, of whether I like their personality or agree with their views.
Today, I Will Remember to Have A Grateful Spirit
I will remember that all that I have is a gift from God and that He freely gives it out of His love and not because I “deserve” it. I will make it my practice to, today, to meditate on how God has blessed me and not on what I think He “should” give me. I will remember that unhappiness is a public rebuke to my authorities and I will give my expectations to God so that I will be free to be happy with what He has provided.
Today, I Will Have A Servant’s Spirit
I know that God has called me to serve Him by serving others. I will remember that serving is God’s way to greatness. I will be excited to make others successful as God gives me opportunity.
Today, I Will Have A Quiet Spirit
I will trust the Lord with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding. I will overcome fear and worry by focusing only on the things for which God has given me responsibility. I will remember that God uses even my failures, and those of others, to accomplish His ultimate purpose.
